Two locals (a Boston-based pastry chef and the owner of a downtown cantina) made a commitment to design a new bistro with green and sustainable products. Two Ceres Street Bistro is a cocktail oasis housed in a 300-year old brick building which fits perfectly with the decor, earth tones and a wide variety of natural materials and textures.

The finishes that surround patrons are warm and welcoming. The floor of the bistro is made of 100 percent recycled bottles. The bar top is fabricated from PaperStone, a composite material resembling soapstone, made from recycled cashew nut oils and water-based resins. Non-brick walls are painted a dark tan with low VOC paint - paint with low volatile organic compounds. The kiwi green and black rug is woven from 100 percent pure wool.

The organic feel plays a major role in the ambiance of the lounge. Existing bricks and beams are exposed and utilized to the maximum, and cork, stone and wood are used throughout the open space.
