DeStefano Maugel Architects called to action their vast experience in Commercial Design and talent for seeking out innovative materials to relocate this surgical technology company to the Pease Tradeport.
The 56,000 square foot building contains two floors of class A office space, shipping warehouse, and clean room facilities for medical equipment production. The brick masonry facade is evocative of the mill building in Dover, New Hampshire that previously housed Salient Surgical.
Steel and aluminum parapet caps and awnings provide a sleek contrast to the traditional masonry. Contemporary breakthroughs taking place within the building are referenced by the sleek exterior.
The large windows flood the interior with natural light, limiting the expense and energy consumption created by electric light while simultaneously providing a positive work environment.
